more flower power

yesterday i did a photo of my flower that i did.  well, with the help of arden, the store intern, i was able to crank out another flower faster, she's a good cutter!  after the addition of another flower and a simple little butterfly....well, GORGEOUS!!!

poppies will put them to sleep...

Here's a photo of a paper poppy I made for store display.  It turned out pretty good on my first try.  I've made paper flowers before but never using instructions and a template.  It was VERY time consuming but all in all...pretty damn good!!!

I love the styling of this model!  The vibrant red fabric next to her porcelain skin...Perfection! This photograph was taken by Robert Jaso.  His inspiration, along with many other people was none other than my muse, Little Edie of Grey Gardens fame.
